The problem was that when dselect prompted me to switch media in order to grok the available packages from the other CD's, I was unable to eject the CD. This happens often... either after burning a CD or after inserting a CD to pull files from it. Dell OptiPlex GX260 with Win 2K Pro. And it's not just on my system... I've had several folks have similar CD eject problems on other systems running Win 2K. Thanks, Alex.
